Poland (2014) | Limited Edition of 30
This church was built between 1796 and 1797 according to plans by the architect Carl Gotthard Langhans, who also built the Brandenburg Gate.
It was expanded in 1872 and got a tower extension, which cannot be climbed today because the stairs end in nothing. After the Second World War this church was probably no longer used and was left to its own devices. The windows were bricked up and if you are lucky, the sun rays shine through the holes between the stones and in the roof.
But something is happening, the restoration has started and this place will soon no longer be an abandoned one.
